Responsibilities
- Operate delivery vehicles safely and efficiently to designated routes in Wichita and surrounding areas.
- Load and unload cargo using appropriate equipment, ensuring proper handling and security.
- Verify delivery addresses and obtain digital or written signatures from recipients.
- Provide exceptional customer service by answering questions and resolving delivery issues professionally.
- Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance.
- Maintain the cleanliness of the vehicle and adhere to all traffic laws and company policies.
- Update delivery status in the tracking system accurately and in a timely manner.
Qualifications
- Valid Class C Driver's License with a clean driving record (no major violations).
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Physically capable of lifting and carrying packages weighing up to 50 pounds repeatedly.
- Strong time management skills with the ability to meet strict delivery deadlines.
- Excellent communication skills and a professional demeanor.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as required.
