Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (Trucks/Trailers) to deliver freight to designated locations in a timely manner.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance and report any mechanical issues.
- Load and unload cargo accurately, ensuring proper weight distribution and securement.
- Verify delivery documents, obtain signatures, and maintain accurate logbooks and paperwork.
- Maintain a clean and professional appearance of the vehicle at all times.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, DOT regulations, and company safety policies.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) required.
- Current Medical Examiner's Certificate (DOT Physical) is mandatory.
- Clean driving record (MVR) with no major violations in the past 3 years.
- Ability to pass a comprehensive background check and drug screen.
- Strong customer service skills and the ability to work independently.
- Basic English proficiency for communication and documentation.
