Job Responsibilities
As a CDL Driver, you will be the face of our company. Your primary focus will be the safe and timely delivery of freight while maintaining the highest standards of customer service.
- Safely operate commercial motor vehicles (CMVs) to transport cargo across the metro Atlanta area and surrounding regions.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with DOT regulations.
- Load and unload freight securely, adhering to weight and balance requirements.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs, bills of lading, and mileage records.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety policies at all times.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery status and any delays.
Qualifications
We are looking for reliable individuals who take pride in their work. The ideal candidate will hold a valid CDL and possess a strong work ethic.
- Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) required.
- Current Medical Examiner's Certificate (DOT Physical) is mandatory.
- Clean driving record with no more than two (2) moving violations in the past three (3) years.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
- Must be at least 21 years of age to operate a commercial vehicle across state lines.
