Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles to deliver goods on time and in perfect condition
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle maintenance logs
- Load/unload cargo using proper equipment and safety protocols
- Optimize delivery routes for maximum efficiency while adhering to DOT regulations
- Provide exceptional customer service through clear communication and professionalism
- Utilize GPS technology for real-time navigation and delivery tracking
- Document delivery receipts and resolve any shipment discrepancies promptly
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with Hazmat endorsement preferred
- Minimum 1 year commercial driving experience OR willingness to complete paid training program
- Clean MVR with no major violations in past 3 years
- Ability to lift up to 75 pounds and work in various weather conditions
- Strong time management and problem-solving skills
- Basic knowledge of Houston metro area geography
- Pass mandatory background check and drug screening
