Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles to transport goods on scheduled routes
- Conduct pre-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle maintenance logs
- Adhere to all DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Provide exceptional customer service during loading/unloading and delivery
- Plan efficient routes using GPS technology to meet delivery deadlines
- Document delivery status and handle necessary paperwork accurately
- Communicate effectively with dispatch team regarding route changes or delays
- Maintain clean driving record and follow all traffic laws
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (Class A or B) required
- Minimum 1 year of driving experience preferred (entry-level training available)
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance and troubleshooting
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities
- Must pass background check and MVR review
