Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles to transport freight between terminals and customer locations
- Conduct pre-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle maintenance logs
- Adhere to DOT regulations and company safety protocols at all times
- Load/unload cargo with proper handling techniques and equipment
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and support teams for route optimization
- Complete delivery paperwork and maintain electronic logging system compliance
- Represent Swift Transportation professionally while interacting with clients
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean driving record
- Minimum 21 years of age
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Basic knowledge of DOT regulations and safety procedures
- Strong time management and problem-solving skills
- Willingness to work flexible schedules including nights/weekends
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally
- No DUI/DWI convictions in past 5 years
