Responsibilities
- Operate dump trucks to transport construction materials (dirt, gravel, asphalt) to job sites
- Perform pre-trip inspections and maintain accurate delivery logs
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Collaborate with site supervisors for efficient loading/unloading operations
- Maintain vehicle cleanliness and minor maintenance checks
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and team members
- Manage time-sensitive deliveries in high-traffic urban environments
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 2 years dump truck driving experience
- Clean driving record (no DUIs in past 5 years)
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in outdoor conditions
- Familiarity with LA area construction zones and routes
- DOT medical certification and physical fitness
- Basic mechanical troubleshooting skills
- Strong attention to safety and detail orientation
