Responsibilities
- Operate dump trucks to transport materials to and from construction sites and landfills efficiently.
- Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance.
- Load and unload trucks using forklifts, skid steers, and hand tools as needed.
- Maintain accurate driver logs (ELD) and delivery paperwork.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, DOT regulations, and company safety policies.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and site supervisors regarding route changes or delays.
Qualifications
- Clean Class A or Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) required.
- Valid DOT medical card and DOT physical.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience operating dump trucks in a commercial setting.
- Strong knowledge of vehicle maintenance and troubleshooting.
- Ability to pass a drug screen and background check.
- Physical stamina to lift heavy loads and work in varying weather conditions.
