Responsibilities
- Safely operate company-provided Class A tractor-trailers on dedicated regional routes
- Complete timely deliveries while adhering to DOT regulations and safety protocols
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections and basic vehicle maintenance
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and electronic logging system compliance
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients regarding shipment status
- Represent the company professionally at customer facilities
- Participate in ongoing safety training and equipment familiarization
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years of OTR driving experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Strong understanding of DOT regulations and HOS compliance
- Basic mechanical knowledge for troubleshooting minor issues
- Excellent time management and route navigation skills
- Ability to work independently while maintaining communication standards
- Willingness to work flexible schedules including occasional overnight trips
