Responsibilities
- Operate late-model tractors in dedicated regional routes with consistent home time
- Safely transport time-sensitive freight between Florida distribution centers
- Maintain accurate electronic logs and DOT compliance documentation
- Conduct thorough pre/post-trip inspections and report maintenance needs
- Provide exceptional customer service through clear communication with dispatch
- Adhere to all FMCSA regulations and company safety protocols
- Collaborate with logistics team to optimize delivery schedules
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean 3-year MVR
- Minimum 1 year OTR experience with dedicated route background
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Proficiency in electronic logging devices (ELD) and GPS navigation
- Strong commitment to safety and on-time delivery performance
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Flexibility for occasional weekend shifts during peak seasons
- Resident of St. Petersburg/Tampa Bay area preferred
