Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles to deliver freight on designated routes
- Conduct pre-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle maintenance logs
- Ensure timely deliveries while adhering to DOT regulations and company policies
- Provide excellent customer service through professional communication and problem-solving
- Utilize GPS technology for efficient route navigation and delivery optimization
- Document delivery confirmations and handle exceptions with precision
- Collaborate with dispatch team to maintain seamless logistics operations
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Proficiency in electronic logging devices (ELD) and fleet management systems
- Strong knowledge of California traffic laws and route planning
- Excellent time management and customer service skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various weather conditions
- Previous experience with hazmat tanker endorsements preferred
