Responsibilities
- Safely operate dump trucks and heavy equipment on urban and highway routes
- Transport construction materials (asphalt, gravel, debris) to job sites
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate logs
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and NYC traffic laws
- Collaborate with site supervisors for efficient loading/unloading
- Maintain clean vehicles and report maintenance needs promptly
Qualifications
- Valid Class B CDL license with air brakes endorsement
- 2+ years commercial driving experience preferred
- Clean MVR with no DUI/DWI in past 5 years
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Familiarity with NYC geography and construction zones
- Strong safety record and attention to detail
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and work in all weather conditions
