Responsibilities
- Safely operate company-provided late-model tractors and trailers on dedicated routes
- Adhere to strict DOT regulations and maintain accurate logs via electronic logging devices
- Inspect, clean, and perform basic preventive maintenance on assigned equipment
- Load/unload freight efficiently with no-touch or minimal-touch requirements
- Communicate proactively with dispatch regarding delivery status and potential delays
- Ensure secure cargo handling and proper documentation for each shipment
- Maintain professional customer service relationships at delivery points
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years OTR driving experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Proficient with electronic logging devices (ELD) and GPS navigation
- Strong safety record and commitment to compliance
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various weather conditions
- Excellent time management and communication skills
- Willingness to pass mandatory background check
