Responsibilities
- Safely operate box trucks for local/regional freight delivery
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections and maintenance checks
- Manage loading/unloading operations with proper equipment use
- Maintain accurate DOT logs and delivery documentation
- Adhere to safety protocols and FMCSA regulations
- Communicate with dispatch regarding delivery status and delays
- Optimize routes for efficient on-time deliveries
Qualifications
- Valid Class B CDL license (or willingness to obtain)
- Clean driving record (no major violations in 3 years)
- Ability to pass background check and drug screening
- Basic mechanical knowledge for minor troubleshooting
- Strong time management and customer service skills
- Reliable smartphone with GPS capability
- Willingness to complete paid training program (4 weeks)
