Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles to transport freight across designated routes
- Coordinate delivery schedules and route planning through remote digital platforms
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate electronic logs
- Communicate shipment status and exceptions via mobile applications
- Ensure compliance with FMCSA regulations and company safety protocols
- Utilize telematics systems for real-time tracking and performance monitoring
- Collaborate with warehouse staff for efficient loading/unloading procedures
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record (no major violations in 3 years)
- Minimum 2 years commercial driving experience
- Ability to lift up to 70 lbs and operate loading equipment
- Proficient with digital communication tools and mobile applications
- Strong time management and route optimization skills
- Pass DOT physical and random drug screening requirements
- Knowledge of Texas transportation regulations and hazmat protocols
- High school diploma or equivalent required
