Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial freight vehicles over long distances
- Load/unload cargo with precision and proper documentation
- Adhere to DOT regulations and route optimization protocols
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections and maintenance checks
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and electronic records
- Collaborate with warehouse teams for efficient transfers
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years verifiable commercial driving experience
- Hazmat endorsement preferred (training provided)
- Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and operate loading equipment
- Strong time management and problem-solving skills
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Knowledge of FMCSA regulations and safety protocols
- Willingness to work flexible schedules including weekends
