Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks and trailers over various road conditions in the Pacific Northwest.
- Ensure timely and accurate delivery of freight while adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure equipment is in safe operating condition.
- Load and secure cargo properly using straps, chains, and bars to prevent damage during transit.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records and complete all necessary delivery paperwork.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules and any issues.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A required.
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable Class A truck driving experience.
- Current DOT medical card and physical examination card.
- Clean driving record (MVR) with no major violations or DUIs within the last 7 years.
- Strong knowledge of DOT regulations, hours of service (HOS), and cargo securement rules.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
