Responsibilities
- Safely operate school buses on designated routes adhering to strict schedules
- Conduct pre-trip inspections and maintain vehicle cleanliness
- Supervise students during transit, ensuring safety protocols are followed
- Communicate professionally with parents, school staff, and dispatch
- Adhere to all federal/state transportation regulations and DPS policies
- Complete incident reports and documentation as required
Qualifications
- Valid Colorado Driver's License with clean driving record
- Ability to obtain Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with Passenger/School Bus endorsement
- Pass background check and DOT physical examination
- Experience working with children or preferred background in education
- Strong communication and conflict resolution skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and assist students with mobility needs
