Responsibilities
- Safely operate delivery vehicles to complete assigned routes in a timely manner.
- Load and unload packages, ensuring proper handling to prevent damage.
- Interact professionally and courteously with customers at every delivery point.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and daily paperwork.
- Conduct routine vehicle inspections and report any maintenance issues immediately.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety policies.
Qualifications
- Valid Class C Driver’s License.
- Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) is a plus but not always required.
- Clean driving record (MVR) with no serious traffic violations.
- Reliable personal vehicle or ability to pass a vehicle inspection.
- Ability to lift packages weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Strong navigation skills and familiarity with the Nashville metro area.
