Responsibilities
- Safely operate dump trucks to transport construction materials, debris, and aggregates
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with safety standards
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation for all hauls
- Coordinate with site supervisors to optimize loading/unloading procedures
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and local traffic laws
- Assist with minor vehicle maintenance and report mechanical issues promptly
- Support team members during peak operational periods
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 2 years of dump truck driving experience
- Clean driving record with no major violations in past 3 years
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various weather conditions
- Knowledge of DOT regulations and safety protocols
- Basic mechanical aptitude for vehicle inspections
- Strong time management and communication skills
- Ability to pass background check and drug screening
