Job Overview:
We are seeking energetic Delivery Drivers to transport packages and goods safely and efficiently across the Chicago metropolitan area. You will represent our brand to the community, ensuring customer satisfaction with every stop.
Responsibilities
- Load and unload packages safely and efficiently, ensuring proper handling of fragile items.
- Verify delivery contents against manifests to ensure accuracy.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations while driving.
- Practice excellent time management to complete routes on schedule.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the delivery vehicle.
- Collect payments or obtain signatures for COD (Cash on Delivery) orders as required.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch regarding route changes or delays.
Qualifications
- Valid Class C Driver’s License with a clean driving record (no more than 2 moving violations in the last 3 years).
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Basic smartphone proficiency for navigation and digital signature capture.
- Reliable personal transportation to and from the warehouse.
- Must pass a background check and drug screening.
