Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (dry van, reefers) for regional routes
- Adhere to FMCSA regulations and strict safety protocols
- Plan efficient routes using GPS technology and real-time traffic updates
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections and document maintenance needs
- Coordinate loading/unloading at distribution centers and client sites
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and electronic logging system (ELD)
- Provide exceptional customer service during transit and delivery
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record (no DUIs in past 5 years)
- Minimum 2 years OTR or regional trucking experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate in various weather conditions
- Proficient with electronic logging devices (ELD) and GPS navigation
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening requirements
- Knowledge of Florida highway systems and delivery regulations
- Flexibility for overnight trips and weekend schedules as needed
