Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks and vans to deliver freight to customers in and around San Diego.
- Load and unload cargo using proper equipment, ensuring weight distribution is safe.
- Perform daily vehicle inspections and complete logbooks in compliance with DOT regulations.
- Maintain a clean and professional appearance while adhering to strict safety protocols.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers to resolve any delivery issues.
- Keep the vehicle's interior and exterior clean and well-maintained.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A or Class B required.
- Current Medical Card and DOT Medical Examiner's Certificate.
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable commercial driving experience.
- Must possess a clean driving record (no more than 3 moving violations in the last 3 years).
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
- Familiarity with GPS navigation and route planning software.
