Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks (Class A CDL required) on regional routes
- Plan efficient routes and maintain delivery schedules
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections and document maintenance needs
- Load/unload cargo with proper securing techniques
- Maintain accurate electronic logs (ELD) and compliance records
- Communicate with dispatch and customers regarding delivery status
- Adhere to FMCSA regulations and company safety policies
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean MVR
- Minimum 2 years OTR/Regional experience
- No preventable accidents in last 3 years
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally
- Basic smartphone proficiency for ELD apps
- Flexible schedule including weekends/holidays
- Knowledge of Hazmat handling (preferred)
