Responsibilities
- Safely transport packages and documents to designated locations within San Jose area
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and obtain customer signatures
- Perform vehicle pre/post-trip inspections and report maintenance needs
- Optimize routes using GPS technology for timely deliveries
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Adhere to traffic laws and company safety protocols
- Assist with loading/unloading operations at distribution center
Qualifications
- Valid California driver's license with clean driving record
- Minimum 1 year commercial driving experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly
- Strong knowledge of San Jose geography and traffic patterns
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Basic smartphone proficiency for delivery apps
- Pass background check and drug screening
