Responsibilities
- Safely operate delivery vans and box trucks to ensure timely and accurate delivery of packages to residential and commercial customers.
- Unload freight, verify contents against delivery slips, and obtain customer signatures upon completion.
- Maintain the cleanliness of the delivery vehicle, including the cab and cargo area, at all times.
- Perform daily vehicle inspections to report any mechanical issues or safety hazards to management immediately.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, DOT regulations, and company safety policies to ensure a zero-accident workplace.
- Provide exceptional customer service by answering questions professionally and resolving delivery issues on the spot.
Qualifications
- Valid Class C Driver's License required; Class B with CDL preferred.
- Clean driving record (no DUIs or major violations in the last 3 years).
- Ability to lift, push, and pull packages weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Strong time management skills and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Basic smartphone proficiency for logging deliveries and communicating with dispatch.
- Must be at least 21 years of age and able to pass a background check and drug screening.
