What You Will Do:
As a Delivery Driver, you will be the face of our company. Your primary goal is to ensure customers receive their packages safely and on time.
Responsibilities
- Load and Unload: Safely load packages onto your vehicle and unload them at the destination.
- Route Navigation: Use GPS navigation to follow efficient delivery routes and arrive on schedule.
- Customer Service: Interact professionally with customers, handling face-to-face deliveries and answering questions.
- Order Accuracy: Verify that the correct items are delivered and inspect packages for damage before handing them over.
- Vehicle Care: Perform basic vehicle checks (fuel, tires, cleanliness) and report any maintenance issues promptly.
- Payment Handling: Collect cash payments or process digital transactions accurately.
Qualifications
- License Requirements: A valid Driver’s License and a clean driving record (no major infractions).
- Physical Ability: Ability to lift heavy items (up to 50 lbs) and stand/walk for extended periods.
- Technology: Reliable smartphone with data access for real-time order updates.
- Communication: Strong verbal communication skills in English.
- Reliability: Punctual, responsible, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
