Responsibilities
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance.
- Safely load and unload cargo using various lifting equipment and hand tools.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records and hours of service (HOS).
- Navigate efficiently to meet delivery schedules while adhering to traffic laws.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding shipment status.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with a clean driving record (no DUIs in the last 3 years).
- Current DOT medical card and DOT physical.
- Pass a Department of Transportation drug screen and background check.
- Minimum of 1 year of verifiable commercial driving experience.
- Ability to operate standard and automatic transmission trucks.
