Responsibilities
- Deliver packages to residential and commercial addresses safely and efficiently.
- Obtain and verify signatures upon delivery to ensure accurate chain of custody.
- Maintain the cleanliness and proper maintenance of the delivery vehicle.
- Practice safe driving habits and adhere to all traffic laws and company policies.
- Interact professionally with customers and handle any delivery issues with a smile.
- Plan routes to ensure timely arrivals and minimize fuel consumption.
- Perform daily vehicle inspections and report any mechanical issues immediately.
Qualifications
- Valid Class C Driver's License (CDL not required for entry-level).
- Able to pass a comprehensive background check and drug screening.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly demeanor.
- Ability to lift packages up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Basic smartphone proficiency for navigation and logging.
