Responsibilities
- Operate Class A commercial vehicles for regional routes (300-500 miles daily)
- Safely transport refrigerated freight to distribution centers across Florida
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate logs
- Adhere to HOS regulations and DOT compliance standards
- Communicate with dispatch team via ELD system for real-time updates
- Load/unload freight with proper equipment handling
- Represent company professionally with clients at delivery points
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean driving record (no major violations in 3 years)
- Minimum 1 year verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Ability to lift up to 75 lbs occasionally
- Knowledge of Jacksonville metro area and Florida highways
- Basic smartphone proficiency for app-based communication
- Flexible schedule availability (early mornings, weekends as needed)
