Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently deliver packages to residential and commercial clients in New Orleans, LA, and Florida.
- Load and unload parcels with care, ensuring all items are secure and undamaged.
- Verify delivery addresses and obtain electronic signatures where required.
- Maintain a clean and professional appearance while adhering to company uniforms.
- Manage time effectively to meet daily delivery targets and routes.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delays or issues.
- Perform routine vehicle inspections and basic maintenance checks.
Qualifications
- Valid Driver’s License with a clean driving record (MVR check required).
- Must be at least 21 years of age for interstate driving.
- Ability to lift packages weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Basic computer skills for using handheld delivery devices.
- Strong customer service skills and a professional attitude.
- Reliable transportation to and from the depot.
- Must pass a background check and drug screening.
