Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks (Class A CDL) in a dedicated lane to ensure on-time delivery.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections to verify vehicle condition and cargo security.
- Maintain accurate logs (EOBR) and ensure all regulatory compliance with FMCSA regulations.
- Load and unload cargo efficiently, utilizing proper lifting techniques and securing equipment.
- Communicate with dispatch regarding schedule changes, route deviations, and delivery updates.
- Adhere to safety protocols to minimize risk and ensure a clean driving record.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) issued by the state.
- Minimum 1-2 years of verifiable OTR driving experience.
- Clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) with no major violations in the last 3 years.
- Ability to pass a drug screen and background check.
- Willingness to work flexible hours and occasional weekends.
- Strong understanding of DOT regulations and safety compliance.
