Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks over dedicated routes within the Louisiana region
- Adhere to all DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Perform pre-trip inspections and basic vehicle maintenance checks
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients regarding shipment status
- Represent Nexus Logistics professionally at all customer locations
- Participate in ongoing safety and compliance training
Qualifications
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record (no more than 2 moving violations in 3 years)
- Ability to obtain Class A CDL (training provided if needed)
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Basic understanding of vehicle operation and maintenance
- Strong work ethic and punctuality
- Ability to work independently and follow instructions
- Willingness to work flexible schedules including overnight trips
- Must be 21+ years old
