Responsibilities
- Operate dry van trailers on dedicated regional routes within Louisiana, Mississippi, Alabama, and Texas
- Adhere to strict delivery schedules while maintaining DOT compliance and safety protocols
- Conduct pre-trip inspections and report maintenance needs promptly
- Utilize electronic logging systems (ELD) and GPS tracking for route optimization
- Build strong relationships with clients through professional communication and on-time deliveries
- Maintain accurate delivery documentation and freight manifests
- Participate in monthly safety training and performance reviews
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with minimum 2 years OTR experience
- Clean MVR and no preventable accidents in past 3 years
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Proficiency in using ELD systems and basic navigation technology
- Strong time management skills with ability to meet tight delivery windows
- Flexible availability including occasional overnight trips
- Knowledge of regional highways and weather patterns
- Willingness to undergo company-sponsored hazmat certification
