Responsibilities
- Operate Class 8 tractor-trailers on dedicated routes with consistent weekly schedules
- Ensure compliance with DOT regulations, HOS guidelines, and company safety protocols
- Perform pre-trip inspections, documentation, and post-trip vehicle maintenance checks
- Coordinate with dispatch team for real-time route adjustments and delivery confirmations
- Maintain accurate logs, bills of lading, and shipment documentation
- Build strong relationships with warehouse teams and delivery recipients
- Represent Elite Transport with professional conduct and safety-first mindset
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record (no major violations in past 3 years)
- Minimum 2 years OTR driving experience with dedicated route background
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening requirements
- Proficiency in electronic logging devices and fleet management systems
- Strong knowledge of highway regulations and regional routing
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate in various weather conditions
- Excellent time management and communication skills
- Willingness to stay out 5-7 days per week with consistent home time
