Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial Class A diesel trucks in all weather conditions.
- Load and unload freight efficiently while adhering to safety protocols.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections (DVIR).
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records and paperwork.
- Ensure customer satisfaction by delivering freight on time and in pristine condition.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and support teams regarding route changes.
- Uphold strict compliance with FMCSA regulations and company policies.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) Class A required.
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable OTR driving experience.
- Clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) with no major violations in the last 3 years.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical exam.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
- Basic mechanical knowledge for minor vehicle troubleshooting.
- Willingness to pass a background check and drug screening.
