Responsibilities
- Operate commercial trucks (Class A) in a safe, efficient, and professional manner across assigned routes.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance and safety standards.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records in strict adherence to FMCSA regulations.
- Deliver freight on time while maintaining a professional image of the company and its brand.
- Communicate proactively with dispatch regarding traffic conditions, delays, and route changes.
- Keep the cab and trailer clean and organized at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) Class A with a clean driving record (MVR).
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable OTR driving experience.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical exam and drug screen.
- Strong understanding of DOT/HOS regulations and safety procedures.
- Ability to work independently and maintain a positive attitude with customers.
- Willingness to learn new routes and company policies.
