Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles on dedicated long-haul routes
- Adhere strictly to FMCSA regulations and company safety protocols
- Maintain accurate trip logs, delivery documentation, and vehicle inspection reports
- Coordinate with logistics team for timely pickups/delivers and route adjustments
- Perform pre/post-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs
- Build strong relationships with clients through professional communication
- Optimize routes for efficiency while prioritizing safety
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record (no major violations in past 3 years)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable OTR experience with dedicated routes
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Strong knowledge of HOS regulations and electronic logging devices
- Exceptional time management and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Willingness to travel 70% of time with consistent home time
- Basic proficiency with GPS navigation and mobile communication tools
