Responsibilities
- Safely operate and maintain a box truck (24-26 ft) for local/regional deliveries
- Plan efficient routes to meet strict delivery deadlines
- Handle freight loading/unloading with proper equipment usage
- Maintain accurate delivery documentation and logs
- Communicate professionally with clients and dispatch team
- Perform daily vehicle inspections and preventative maintenance
- Adhere to all FMCSA regulations and company safety protocols
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B CDL with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years commercial driving experience
- Box truck or straight truck expertise required
- Strong knowledge of Southern California geography
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly
- Reliable personal box truck (24-26 ft) in good condition
- Commercial auto insurance ($1M liability minimum)
- Smartphone with GPS and reliable communication
