Responsibilities
- Safely operate box trucks for local/regional deliveries within San Francisco Bay Area
- Maintain strict adherence to delivery schedules and route optimization
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections and ensure vehicle maintenance compliance
- Handle freight documentation and electronic logging system (ELD) updates
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Coordinate with dispatch team for real-time route adjustments
- Adhere to all FMCSA regulations and California state transportation laws
Qualifications
- Valid Class B CDL with clean driving record (no major violations in past 3 years)
- Minimum 2 years box truck or similar commercial driving experience
- Proof of commercial auto insurance ($1M liability coverage)
- Reliable box truck (26ft max) with current registration and inspection
- Proficiency with GPS navigation and electronic logging devices
- Strong knowledge of Bay Area traffic patterns and delivery zones
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly during loading/unloading
- Excellent time management and communication skills
