Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks on regional routes within Central Valley
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate logs
- Load/unload cargo using proper equipment and techniques
- Adhere to FMCSA regulations and company safety protocols
- Communicate with dispatch regarding route status and delays
- Perform minor preventative maintenance checks
- Deliver freight to agricultural, manufacturing, and distribution centers
Qualifications
- Valid driver's license with clean MVR (no DUIs in past 5 years)
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Basic math skills for weight distribution calculations
- Flexibility for early morning starts and occasional weekends
- Willingness to complete paid 4-week training program
- Strong commitment to safety and punctuality
- Ability to lift 50 lbs occasionally and climb into trailer beds
