Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles to deliver freight on dedicated regional routes
- Conduct pre-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle maintenance logs
- Load/unload cargo using proper equipment and safety procedures
- Navigate efficiently using GPS systems while adhering to DOT regulations
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery and pickup interactions
- Complete electronic logs and documentation in compliance with FMCSA standards
- Collaborate with dispatch to optimize route efficiency and on-time performance
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Familiarity with Minneapolis metro area and regional highways
- Strong commitment to safety and defensive driving practices
- Basic computer skills for electronic logging systems
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly during loading/unloading
- Flexibility for early morning starts and occasional overnight trips
