Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles to deliver goods on time and in perfect condition
- Plan and execute efficient routes using GPS navigation systems while adhering to DOT regulations
- Conduct thorough pre-trip inspections and maintain detailed vehicle maintenance logs
- Load/unload cargo with precision using pallet jacks and forklifts when required
- Build strong customer relationships through professional communication and problem-solving
- Document delivery receipts and resolve discrepancies promptly
- Maintain clean driving record and comply with all safety protocols
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with Hazmat endorsement preferred
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Clean MVR with no major violations in past 3 years
- Ability to pass DOT physical and pre-employment drug screen
- Proficient in electronic logging devices (ELD) and route planning apps
- Strong communication skills and customer service orientation
- Ability to lift up to 70 pounds and work in various weather conditions
