Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A tractor-trailers on dedicated routes between Virginia Beach and East Coast distribution centers
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations, HOS guidelines, and company safety protocols
- Complete thorough pre/post-trip inspections and document maintenance reports
- Maintain accurate delivery logs, manifests, and electronic logging system records
- Provide exceptional customer service during dock interactions and delivery confirmations
- Collaborate with dispatch team for route optimization and schedule adherence
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with minimum 2 years verifiable OTR experience
- Clean MVR (no major violations in past 3 years)
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Proficiency with electronic logging devices (ELD) and transportation software
- Strong knowledge of Virginia roadways and East Coast logistics corridors
- Excellent time management and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally
