Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks on dedicated long-haul routes
- Perform thorough pre/post-trip inspections and maintenance checks
- Maintain accurate electronic logs and compliance documentation
- Coordinate with dispatch for timely deliveries and route adjustments
- Ensure secure loading/unloading of freight at client locations
- Adhere to all FMCSA regulations and company safety protocols
- Communicate effectively with logistics team and clients
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with minimum 2 years OTR experience
- Clean MVR with no major violations in past 3 years
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Familiarity with electronic logging devices (ELD)
- Strong knowledge of DOT regulations and safety standards
- Basic mechanical troubleshooting skills
- Flexibility for regional overnight travel
- Excellent time management and communication skills
