Responsibilities
- Operate commercial trucks safely and efficiently in accordance with FMCSA regulations.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance.
- Load and unload cargo using forklifts, straps, and cargo bars, ensuring secure transport.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records and mileage logs.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules and any issues.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and company policies at all times.
- Perform routine maintenance checks on the vehicle as required.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A or B required.
- Must possess a clean driving record (MVR) and no major violations.
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable commercial driving experience preferred.
- Current Medical Examiner's Certificate (DOT Physical) on file.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Strong time management and problem-solving skills.
- Willingness to work flexible hours and occasional weekends if needed.
