Responsibilities
- Operate commercial trucks safely and efficiently on designated routes.
- Load and unload cargo, ensuring all items are secure and protected.
- Complete all necessary delivery documentation accurately and on time.
- Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections per DOT regulations.
- Maintain a clean driving record and adhere to all traffic laws.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding schedules and changes.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) Class A required.
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable driving experience (OTR or Regional).
- Clean driving record with no major violations in the last 3 years.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination.
- Basic mechanical knowledge for minor vehicle troubleshooting.
- Strong time management and problem-solving skills.
