Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks and trailers on local and regional routes.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance and safety.
- Maintain accurate daily logs (ELD) in accordance with FMCSA regulations.
- Load and unload cargo securely using proper handling equipment.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety policies at all times.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch regarding delivery status and any delays.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) Class A or B (required).
- Current Medical Examiner’s Certificate (MVR).
- Minimum of 1 year of verifiable commercial driving experience.
- Ability to pass a comprehensive background check and drug screen.
- Strong understanding of DOT regulations and safety procedures.
- Must be willing to work rotating night shifts (10pm - 6am or similar).
