Responsibilities
- Safely operate your box truck to deliver freight on time and in perfect condition.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and report any mechanical issues immediately.
- Obtain and maintain all necessary permits, licenses, and insurance documentation.
- Ensure cargo is loaded and unloaded securely, adhering to safety protocols.
- Handle all billing and paperwork accurately and in a timely manner.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery status and delays.
Qualifications
- Ownership: Must own a clean, operational 26' box truck.
- License: Valid Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL).
- Record: Clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) with no major violations.
- Experience: Minimum 1 year of driving experience preferred.
- Health: Ability to pass a DOT physical exam.
- Equipment: Valid insurance, registration, and plates for your vehicle.
