Responsibilities
- Operate Commercial Vehicles: Safely and efficiently drive commercial trucks to deliver freight across the region.
- Pre-Trip & Post-Trip Inspections: Perform thorough vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance and prevent breakdowns.
- Load & Unload Cargo: Secure freight properly and assist with loading and unloading as required.
- Maintain Records: Keep accurate logs (ELD) and maintain all required documentation, including bills of lading.
- Customer Service: Interact professionally with customers and ensure timely deliveries.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all DOT regulations, company policies, and traffic laws.
Qualifications
- CDL Class A License: Must hold a valid Class A Commercial Driver's License.
- No Experience Required: We provide training for qualified candidates.
- Driving Record: Clean MVR (Motor Vehicle Record) with no serious violations.
- Age Requirement: Must be at least 21 years old.
- Physical Ability: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and pass a DOT physical examination.
- Communication Skills: Basic English reading and speaking skills for safety communication.
